Aim of genetic manipulation
- Christmas trees resistant to insects and whose needles don't drop off as quickly.(1)
Those carrying out the research:
- Danish team led by Dr Jens Find. Test in Copenhagen's Botanical Gardens. (1)
- In 2009, Find declared that he had given this research up because “People just don't want plants out of some laboratory standing in their living rooms”. (2)
